The Missouri men’s basketball team were at Alabama last night in SEC play. Mizzou Tigers faded in the second half of their 93-75 loss to Alabama. Mizzou trailed by just two at halftime and once again Dennis Gates couldn’t get his team to play a full 40 minutes. Missouri hosts Florida on Saturday.

Lady Zizzer Basketball Team begin the race to fundraising for the Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Center through their annual Pink Out Game. Participants are encouraged to wear Pink Out apparel from previous years and/or pink, in support of the event. The Lady Zizzer pink out game will be played Feb 8th when the Lady Zizzers host Parkview.
The MSU-WP Grizzlies will host Moberly Area Community College Saturday night at the West Plains Civic Center game starts at 7pm and will air on KDY 102.5 and live video streamed at ozark radio news dot com.
50th Annual Thayer Winter Classic has been rescheduled. The tournament will now begin on Thursday night. Mammoth Springs got the #1 seed and Thayer got the #2 seed and both get first round byes. Thursday night match ups Dora #4 will play Houston #5 at 6pm and Liberty #3 will play Ava #6 at 730. Winner of Dora- Houston will play Mammoth Springs and the winner of Liberty – Ava will play Thayer.
