AFC and NFC championship games were played on Sunday. The Chiefs are Super Bowl-bound. Patrick Mahomes has led KC to the title game for the fourth time in five years with the Chiefs 17-10 win at Baltimore in a game where Patrick completed his first 11 passes. This came from an offense that led the NFL in dropped passes and was second in offensive penalties. The Chiefs will face the 49ers in Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas on February 11th. 49ers defeated the Lions 34-31.

Mizzou tiger and Lady Tiger basketball were on the hardwood this weekend. The Missouri men’s basketball team rallied from a double-digit halftime deficit but South Carolina prevailed in the end, 72-64, on Saturday afternoon. Despite a 22-point effort from sophomore guard Ashton Judd, University of Missouri Women’s Basketball fell, 67-58, to Arkansas on Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Arena. Judd was an efficient 8-of-12 (66.7%) from the floor and added six rebounds to round out her stat line. The West Plains, Missouri native has scored 20+ points on five occasions in her career.
The STL Blues were on the ice Sunday. Brayden Schenn scored 1:04 into overtime to give the St. Louis Blues their fifth straight win, 4-3 against the Los Angeles Kings at Enterprise Center on Sunday.
