The West Plains High School Zizzer Swim Team is excited to kick off their season at The First Annual Zizzer Invitational Saturday, Aug 27 at 11 a.m. at the West Plains Aquatic Center’s Outdoor Pool. The Zizzers will host 8 teams from across Southern Missouri.
The Lady Grizzly volleyball team kicked off their season this past weekend Falling to Western Nebraska Community College 3-0 but the Lady Grizzlies came back with a 3-0 win over Butler Community College out of Kansas, these two games were played on Friday and Saturday a tough match to start the day with Hutchinson Community College with the Lady Grizzlies coming up short 3-2 but the final game of this stretch of 4 games in two days placed the Lady Grizzlies in the winner side of the column by defeating Casper College 3-0. The Lady Grizzlies play again Wed Aug 31st at East Central College Located in Union Missouri at 630 pm.
Tonight at 5:30PM, the Lady Liberty Eagle Volleyball team we will host a Jamboree with Mountain Grove Doors will open at 5pm see you at the nest. The Lady Eagles will open their season at Licking on Monday the 29th and then host Poplar Bluff on Tuesday night.
