The Mizzou Tigers kicked off the 2022 football season with a 52-24 win over Louisiana Tech at Faurot Field.  The Tigers rushed for 346 yards as a team while holding the Bulldogs to just 13 yards on the ground.  Nathaniel Peat had 72 rushing yards and a 34 yard score, while Luther Burden scored two touchdowns in his debut…a one-yard run and a five-yard pass.  Mizzou is 1-and-0, and the Tigers will take on Kansas State next Saturday.

Friday night High School football match ups week 2. Ava at Strafford. Cabool host Skyline. Agape at Liberty game will air on The Fox 969. El Dorado Springs at Mountain Grove. Houston at Central Methodist University. vs Fayette 730pm game will air on Q94 93.9. Knob Noster at Salem. The second annual Jim Jones individual 18-hole golf tournament will be held tomorrow, Saturday Sept 3rd at the Willow Springs Thomas F Benyo Municipal golf course in Willow Springs entry fee is 60 dollars per player.
