Saturday The Liberty Eagles were on the road for a class 2 state quarter final game vs Seneca. The Indians scored first and then scored again after a blocked punt when the Liberty offense sputtered after the Eagle defense took the ball away from the Indians with an interception. The second half the Eagle offense started to show some life, but the Indian defense was just to smothering and Liberty falls 28-14. Seneca will play Lamar in the Semifinals on Saturday.
The West Pains Zizzers rolled at Zizzer stadium Friday night as they defeated Hannibal 29-14. West Plains will be back in action in the class 4 semi finals first time in 54 years. The Zizzers will head to O’fallon Saturday for a 1pm kick off vs the St. Dominic Crusaders, game will air on KDY 102.5.
