The Southwest Football Coaches Association has selected their all-region teams for 2022 and local players making the honor of first team are in class 4 Magnus Sanders O-Line, Carter McCracken RB, Heston Miller WR, Watson Hafer TE, Aiden Simpson QB, Chase Larson Kicker, Logan Sitzes D-Line, Myles Foster DE, Carter McCracken LB, Jesse Hudson DB, all from West Plains. And the offensive Player of the year goes to Aiden Simpson and Coach of the year goes to Joel Wyatt. And in Class 2 making first team Hunter Means O-Line and D-line Mtn Grove, Drew Ripko WR Liberty, Carson Allen TE Mtn Grove, Kaden Farrell D-Line Liberty, Brody Rutledge LB Liberty congratulations and in class 1 Logan Walls O-line, Tyler Fleetwood RB, Brady Byerly DB, and Jeff Gebeke D-Line all of Cabool and from Thayer Payton Mills LB. again congratulations to all these young men for the first team honors. And the Fall ORN Sports Banquet was held Sunday at the West Plains Civic Center and Volleyball player of the year went to Mountain Grove Lady Panther Reagan Hoerning and Volleyball coach of the year went to Mountain Grove Volleyball coach Ashley Martin. Football player of the year went to Liberty’s Drew Ripko and Football Coach of the year went to West Plains Zizzer Joel Wyatt.
