State basketball playoff’s from over the weekend. In class1 boys making the final four Chadwick vs Green City and Dadeville vs Braymer first round will be played on Friday in Columbia. Class 2 boys final four, South Pemiscot vs Hartville and Salisbury vs Weaubleau first round will be played on Wednesday. Class 3 boys final four. Central New Madrid County vs Thayer and Montgomery County vs Sumit Christian Academy games will be played on Friday again in Columbia at Mizzou Arena.
Class 2 girls final four Norwood vs Principia and Tipton vs Skyline first round played on Wednesday at Columbia. Class 3 girls final four Fair Grove vs St, Pius X and Centralia vs El Dorado Springs first round played on Friday at Columbia.
Mizzou was down 21 to Ole Miss in the first half and got it back to a two-point game with 1:45 to play, but could pass Ole Miss as the Tigers lost their 16th straight 84-78 on Saturday. Sean East scored 27 points.
