GOLF: Tiger Woods Says He’s ‘Lucky To Be Alive,’ Still Have Leg

The golfer is in Bahamas for this week’s Hero World Challenge, an event he hosts for his foundation. He conducted his first news conference since the crash in California.

Tiger said, “I’m lucky to be alive and also have a limb.”  It’s been “a lot of hard work as he transitioned from a wheelchair to crutches and now nothing. ”

He added “As far as playing at the tour level, I don’t know when that’s going to happen. Now, I’ll play a round here or there, a little hit and giggle, I can do something like that.”

“All those answers have been answered in the investigation,” said Woods, who addressed a room full of media members for the first time since the February accident.

Woods talks about his struggles getting back to normal, and jokes about how big his house is.
