Missouri State University- West Plains Grizzlies played the Indian Hill Warriors this afternoon at the West Plains Civic Center on February 6, 2024
Starting off the game against the Warriors, the Grizzlies took the first score and started off the game strong after their defeat on Saturday, February 3. The Warriors soon caught up quick pulling the game to a tie of 6 to 6. Missouri State University and Indian Hills stay tied going neck to neck for a good chunk of the start of the game. The Grizzlies pull ahead of the Warriors putting a gap between their once closely tied score. With Kyle Germany getting 3 3 pointers and Carlos Paul with 8 points within the 9 minutes of the first half they were definitely going to be a hard team to beat. This is an amazing comeback after their 7 game slump. Way to turn it around. Finishing off the first half of the game, with the Grizzlies making 5 out of 6 3 pointers they shot, the Grizzlies are in the lead at 38 with the Warriors close behind at 36.
Missouri State University and Indian Hills start off the second half how they left off the first, fighting neck to neck for the lead. Within the first 3 minutes the Warriors pull ahead of the Grizzles. this results in a tense game. Missouri State University and Indian Hills stay with in 1 point, knocking each other off the podium for most of the final part of the game. The Grizzles then make 2, 3 pointers in a row and pull back into the lead. Then at the end of the game Indian Hill pushes ahead of Missouri State University and keeps the winning score till the end. Leaving the Grizzlies loosing with 65 and the Warriors winning with 73.
During this game, the Grizzles did improve on their turnovers and three-pointers, having only had 11 turnovers the whole game and making 11 out of 13 of the three-pointers they shot in the game.
