On a cold Saturday evening in West Plains, the MSU: West Plains Grizzlies played host to the #5 team in the country, Mineral Area College. While the temps were low outside, the action heated up quickly in the Civic Center, as Alex Peterson and Zavien Smith pushed the Cardinals of Mineral Area College to the limit. Peterson led all scorers with 24 points while Smith had 20. Franklyin Peteon chipped in with 16 and Taevon Horton had 11. The Cardinals were led by Angelo Stuart with 20 points and Tristian Mullins with 15 and Kevin Legardy chipped in with 12 points all in the 2nd half.
