The Missouri State University – West Plains Grizzlies traveled to Bonneville, Mississippi to take on the Northwest Mississippi College Rangers tonight on December 13, 2024.
Both teams play strong in the first half of the game. The Grizzlies and Rangers stay neck to neck for most of the half before the Grizzlies slowly pull ahead, getting the biggest lead of the game of 8 points, bringing the score to 29 to 21. The Grizzlies continue to pull ahead during the last minute and leave the first half leading 39 to 27.
The Grizzlies start off the second half off the game as they left the first half, strong. They quickly get points bringing them further in the lead with a score of 41 to 27. The Grizzlies continue to dominate, scoring countless three-pointers. The Grizzlies reach the new biggest lead of the game of 22 points, making the score 57 to 35. The Rangers steal the ball scoring a couple points with 7 minutes of the game remaining, the score now at 70 to 45, Grizzlies in the lead. The Grizzlies win the game with a score of 86 to 55.
The Missouri State University – West Plains Grizzlies will play again tomorrow at Northeast Mississippi Community College against the Tigers. This game will air on 102.5 KDY and starts at 4pm.
