Saturday night the Grizzlies were at home taking on the #8 team in the nation, Indian Hills CC Warriors. It was an uphill battle from the start of the game, in which the Grizzlies would fall behind early, and trail the Warriors by a score of 48-37.
The second half for the Grizzlies proved to be the same, as they played hard, but weren’t able to keep up with the Warriors. In the end the Grizzlies would lose the game by a score of 98-82.
A definite positive from the game was Grizzly forward Quentin Jones who led all scorers with 24 points. With the loss the Grizzlies fall to 7-11 on the season.
The Grizzlies will be on the road next week, taking on Arkansas Baptist on Wednesday evening.
