(West Plains) The Missouri State-West Plains Grizzlies will be looking to get into the win column for the first time this season this evening when they host the Huskies of SEMO Prep at the Civic Center.
The Grizzlies are coming off a solid second-half effort against 7th ranked Coffeyville Tuesday when they fell to the Red Ravens, 70-67.
After sputtering offensively the first 30 minutes, MSU-West Plains picked it up and shaved a 16 point deficit to 3 in the final minute but turned the ball over with a chance to tie. Sophomore Tre Breland scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half to lead the Grizzly comeback.
The Grizzlies did a solid job at the free throw line, connecting on 17 of 21 attempts.
