At the Grizzles 23rd game of the year they start off the game with a rocky start when the Vikings take the first lead of the game with 5 points. After a tough struggle between the two colleges the Grizzles pull ahead 8 minutes into the game at 15 to 13. Then Jefferson college took the lead back a minute later going into a big scoring run turning the score 27 to 15. The first half left the Grizzles with the score of 29 and the Vikings with the score of 37.
At the beginning of the second half Missouri State University- West Plains closed the big lead that the Vikings had during the first half, taking over with the winning score. Jefferson College and Missouri State University- West Plains keep fighting for the lead during the majority of the second half staying within 1 point of the others score. The Grizzles stayed in the lead for most of the second half, only to be overcome within the last four minutes, leaving the Vikings with the win of 71-62. This game leaves the Grizzles in a hole with 7 straight losses of the season.
