(West Plains) There will be a lot of new faces when the MSU-West Plains Grizzlies start the 2022-2023 basketball season.

The latest recruit for next season is 6-3 guard Micah Garrett from Fenton, Washington. Former Grizzly Mohammed Kora was also from Fenton. Garrett played 2 seasons at Caspar, Wyoming, junior college but sat out last season.
Grizzlies head coach Jared Phay says he is already familiar with Garrett having recruited him when he was at College of Southern Idaho. Phay says he will be a big help offensively, either taking the ball to the basket or shooting the three.
