West Plains, MO. – The Missouri State University – West Plains Grizzlies begun their Men’s Basketball season hosting the Link Year Prep Lions of Branson, Missouri on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. The Grizzlies begin this season with only three players from the previous years’ team.
The Grizzlies started the game in control of the basketball and this would set the pace for the rest of the first half. The Lions had over twice as many turnovers as the Grizzlies did in the first half and this led to the Grizzlies leading at halftime, 32 to 21. 71-51 final
MSU-WP were able to more than double their lead in the second half of the game, taking the team to a great start of the 2022-23 season with a victory over the Link Year Prep Lions, 71 to 51.
