WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Members of the Friends of the Garnett Library will gather for their October meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 13 in rooms 104 and 105 of the Lybyer Technology Center on the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) campus.
Grizzly eSports Head Coach Alex Pinnon will discuss the program’s recruiting, publicity and retention benefits for the university; the opportunities the program creates for students; and ways the community can help support the program.
Parking will be available in the lot on the north side of the building off Cass Avenue.
Cost of the lunch is $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat should leave a message at 417-255-7940 or email FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11.
“Everyone is welcome to attend,” organizers said. “We welcome you as a guest, or you can find out about joining the organization at the meeting.”
