Hammons Field is THE place to play. The Sports Field Management Association announced that Hammons Field, the home of the Springfield Cardinals, has been named the 2024 Professional Baseball Field of the Year. The honor goes to the ballpark with the best natural field in all of the minor leagues. Hammons Field beat out 119 other ballparks. Hammons Field has won seven previous awards for having the best double-A field.
