After Covid forced Willow Springs to cancel the game scheduled on Friday, the Tigers were forced to go on the road once again. They were able to fill the game, but had to make the long trip to Cleveland Missouri to face the Midway Vikings. Houston had back to back turnovers to start the game but the defense held tough. With injuries Houston had to take the next man up approach and it worked out well. Korbyn Tune stepped in at quarterback and got the Tigers on the board first with a 1 yard sneak. Later in the game Bailey Hurst took a dive play up the middle to paydirt 32 yards untouched. Midway was able to score one touchdown but was helped by a personal foul to put them deep in Houston territory. Houston comes away with a 14-7 victory to go to 3-2 on the season and will face Mountain Grove next week.
