Houston Falls to Strafford in First Round of Districts

The Houston Tigers traveled to Strafford to take on the Indians in the first round of districts. Houston started the scoring after intercepting a Strafford pass and having a short field. Strafford scored on their second possession driving down the field efficiently. The score was tied at 7 after the first quarter. Strafford scored early in the second quarter on big run. They lead 14-7 and that would remain the score going into half time.

Houston started the second half with the ball. They worked their way down the field taking eight minutes off of the clock. Their efforts resulted in a touchdown and got within a point, trailing 14-13. Strafford received the kickoff and scored on their first play from scrimmage on a 71 yard run, leading 21-13. Strafford would score two more times in the fourth quarter. They scored on the first play of the quarter on another big run and on a punt return. They lead 35-13 after those two touchdowns. That would be the final score.
