The Houston Tigers faced the Cabool Bulldogs @ Home on Friday September 20th, 2024 and won by a score of 56-0.
1st Quarter: After the first run, Tigers picks up a 1st and 7 and are able to get Cabool to jump on the snap. The Tigers first score on a 2-yard run by Bricen Jordan. After a failed squib kick and the picking up of a few more yards, Jordan Arthur scores on a 71-yard Touchdown pass, passing to DJ Riley. The Tigers have a 14-0 lead. At around 3:20 in the game, the Tigers score on another Touchdown run by Jordan Arthur. The Arthur-Riley duo score yet another Touchdown pass (about 25 yards) with about 1:55 to go bringing the score to 28-0. After about two or three more downs, DJ Riley makes another run to have a flag thrown. Riley dove for the in-zone. Officials call it good. Tigers score on the good 30 yard pass. Thus ends the quarter, Tigers now leading 35-0.
2nd Quarter: Cabool gets the ball on offense. They get the ball down to the 20 to pick up an illegal-procedure call. Bulldogs are not getting the ball past 3rd & Long. Tigers end up picking up a personal foul as the ball gets down to the 34-yard line. Jordan Arthur gets the ball all the way down to the 29-Yard line of the Bulldogs on a 42 yard run. Bricen Jordan picks up about nine yards as he gets the ball down to the 20. Jordan Arthur picks up a 6-yard run getting the ball into the in-zone, The Tigers now take a 42-0 lead. Brayden Richardson scores on a 52- yard carry with about 5:48 to go. It is now a 49-0, Tiger lead. After getting the ball down as far as the 20, Arthur scores another Touchdown to end the Half.
AT THE HALF: Tigers: 56/ Bulldogs: 0
3rd & 4th Quarter: Once again, Bulldogs take it on Offense. Houston does their best to shut them down on defense. Score holds at 56-0 for Duration of 3rd Quarter. This continues into 4th Quarter as The Bulldogs continue to try to get a 1st down but still don’t make it in. FINAL SCORE: Houston Tigers: 56/ Cabool Bulldogs: 0
