During the monthly Houston school board meeting Loran Richardson head coach of the Houston High School Volleyball team announced that this is her last season as coach, Assistant Coach Tory Wade resigned as well. Richardson began as Head Coach in 2016, and the program steadily improved each year including the SCA title in 2021 when the team went 26-6-2 and followed up this season with a 22-10-1 record. Richardson will stay of staff as the school library media specialist.
