Former Mizzou player and Father Tolton HS star Jontay Porter was banned from the NBA for gambling on games, giving information to bettors and limiting his playing time to affect bets following an investigation by the NBA while Porter was a member of the Toronto Raptors from January to March. He placed at least 13 bets on NBA games using an associate’s online betting account. He ended up profiting $21,965 from these wagers. Jontay’s older brother Michael is currently with the Denver Nuggets.
