The Royals lose to the Tigers 7-5 after a bad inning. The game was tied 3-3 heading into the top of the seventh until a fielding error gave Detroit a 4-3 lead. Three more runs were scored in the inning as the Royals would never recover. Andrew Benintendi had two hits and drove in two runs for the team who still have a chance to win the series as it concludes this afternoon in K-C.
