The Willow Springs Lady Bears traveled to Seymour to face the Conway Lady Bears in the first round of the district tournament. Willow Springs scored the first bucket of the game and used that to jump to a 21-8 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Conway Lady Bears were plagued by turnovers during the first half, aiding the Willow Springs Lady Bears to build a lead.
During the second quarter the Willow Lady Bears outscored Conway 17-10 to add to their 13 point lead from the first quarter. Willow Springs led at half 38-18. The pattern of the game continued in the third quarter. The Willow Lady Bears continued to build on their lead and led 57-23 at the end of the quarter. Willow Springs would win the game 64-32.
The Lady Bears will play the Liberty Lady Eagles on Wednesday the 21st, with a tip off expected to at 7:30.
