The Lady Eagles took the court Tuesday evening for District Tournament play against the St. James Lady Tigers. The Lady Eagles were led by Lexie Shumpert(17 points) and Kinley Richards(16 points). The Eagles would lead through most of the game but some costly turnovers towards the end of the game and some big baskets by the Lady Tigers Hannah Marcee(16 points) and Riley Whitener(19 points) would come back and take down the Lady Eagles 58-54. The Championship game for the Class 3: District 4 Girls basketball tournament will take place Friday evening and it will pit the St. James Lady Tigers against the Lady Wildcats of Licking.
