The Lady Zizzers played the Rolla Lady Bulldogs tonight, and while they’re normally known for their ability to score, the first half of the game was more of a showcase of the Lady Zizzers defense. Throughout much of the first half, Rolla was denied the ability to score. First points on the board happened near the end of the second quarter. The first half of the game ended with a stunning score of 21 to 2.
The second half went differently as the Rolla Lady Bulldogs started to gain some traction while the Lady Zizzers played a little too impatiently to maintain the large lead they had held. The fourth and final quarter was much like the third, but with both teams starting to play with equal fire, it still meant the gap in points could not be overcome. The Zizzers win, and move on to the next stage of their season.
