On Monday night, the Lady Zizzers took on the Bolivar Lady Liberators in the Class 4 district 11 tournament held at Marshfield High School. The first quarter played out slowly as both teams got a feel for each other but, the Lady Zizzers took a 3 point lead over the Lady Liberators to end the first 11 to 8. The second quarter had the Lady Zizzers throwing lightning and sinking buckets and ending the first half with a 16 point lead, 36 to 20.
After the half, the Lady Zizzers kept up their power and energy from the first half of the game and maintained their lead over the Bolivar Lady Liberators. The third quarter ended with a huge Lady Zizzer lead, 57 to 34. The Lady Liberators were able to keep adding points on the board and avoided the Turbo Clock but were not able to stop the Lady Zizzers from obtaining victory with a 20-point lead.
Again, the Lady Zizzers win against the Bolivar Lady Liberators, 67 to 47.
