The West Plains Lady Zizzers hosted the Camdenton Lakers on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at the West Plains High School. The Lady Zizzers had won their last confrontation in December and were looking to add another win.
The game had a tight first half. The Zizzers and Lakers would trade the lead repeatedly in the first quarter and end it tied at 18. The Lady Zizzers would go on a 10-point run and hold the lead in the second quarter to end the half 39 to 32.
During the third quarter, West Plains would runaway with the score, outscoring Camdenton 22 to 6. This would trade somewhat in the fourth, with the Lakers outscoring the Lady Zizzers 22 to 9 but, still ending the game 10 points behind.
The West Plains Lady Zizzers defeat the Camdenton Lakers 70 to 60. This grows the Lady Zizzers to 9 wins for the season and one loss.
