The West Plains Lady Zizzers took on the Branson Lady Pirates in district play on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Zizzers took an early and fast lead that only ended after nearly four minutes into the first quarter and 15 points for the Zizzers. West Plains would keep that pressure up as the first quarter ended with a Zizzer lead of 17-4. The Pirates would continue to trail the Zizzers in the second half with a score at halftime of 35-15, a 20-point deficit for Branson.
The 20-point gap would stay throughout the rest of the game with West Plains getting a few points over it in the third quarter with a score of 52-29. The game would end with the point gap remaining intact and another win for the Zizzers.
The West Plains Lady Zizzers defeat the Branson Lady Pirates 64-44. The Lady Zizzers record for the 2022-23 season goes to 21 wins and 7 losses.
