Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made a surprise visit to a young fan with a heart condition, causing the child to cry tears of joy.
A now viral video shows a young Ravens fan named Landon seated at a table before he is greeted by the 2019 NFL MVP.
Landon immediately rushed over to hug him, began to cry, and refused to let go.
Landon was also able to attend the Raven’s “Monday Night Football” win over the New Orleans Saints, and met Jackson once more on the field for a photo. Other Ravens players also greeted the young fan and gifted him with autographs.
The meeting between Jackson and Landon was arranged after the boy’s father contacted both the Ravens and Saints organizations requesting his son meet Jackson.
No specifics were provided about Landon’s condition or prognosis.
