This year it’s not snow, it’s COVID and other sicknesses. This is all out of anyone’s control but we will try to make the best of the following situation.
Alton’s JV has been quarantined so there will be NO Alton JV vs Liberty JV game tomorrow (Thursday) at 4:30. This would also affect the 3rd place game on Saturday. It would leave the loser of the Thayer JV and Salem JV with no one to play for 3rd.
To get kids as many games as possible Eminence and Summersville have agreed that their JVs will play their consolation game in the 4:30 slot tomorrow then the winner will play in the JV 3rd place game on Saturday.
We are also waiting to hear if Salem will be dealing with any quarantine issues as well but so far so good.
So the schedule for Thursday will be the following…
4:30 Summersville JV vs Eminence JV
5:45 Liberty V vs Alton V game broadcast on The Fox 96.9 fm
7:15 Thayer JV vs Salem JV
8:30 Thayer V vs Winona V game broadcast on The Fox 96.9 fm

With this plan in place, there will be no JV Consolation game on Saturday and we would begin the day with the JV 3rd place game at its scheduled time. I know there have been a lot of changes this week but we are trying to do what gets kids on the court. I appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate the changing circumstances.
