Liberty opened SCA play with a trip to Thayer on Friday night and got off to a fast start taking an early 16-0 lead in the first quarter and expanded thatlead to 30-0 by halftime. In the second half Liberty scored on a 53 yard pass play to go up 36-0 then gave up two touchdowns and two point conversions and go away with a 36-16 win. Carter Pruitt had a big night throwing and running the ball and Gavin Reese scored twice and pulled down two interceptions. Liberty will host Ava next Friday night.
