On Friday night the Liberty Eagles defeated the Cabool Bulldogs 42-28. After an onside kick to open the game Cabool drove the ball down the field but fumbled at the 15 yard line and Drew Ripko scooped the ball and returned it 85 yards to get Liberty on the board first. On their first offensive possession it once again was Drew Ripko this time throwing a 54 yard Touchdown pass to Gentry Acklin. The Eagles continued to roll and win 42-28 with Cabool scoring three fourth quarter touchdowns. Liberty will host the Salem Tigers next Friday night.
