The Liberty Eagles hosted the Lamar Tigers in State Quarterfinal action on Saturday afternoon. Sloppy field conditions made offense a premium in the first half with both defenses playing tough. Lamar took the opening kick-off and drove 93 yards for the lone 1st half score and took a 8-0 halftime lead. In the second half the Lamar offense found some holes and scored three more touchdowns to go up 32-0. Liberty was able to get a late Tyler Watt Touchdown and two-point conversion to make the final 32-8. Liberty ends a great season at 10-3.
