It was a back and forth game for two and a half quarters. Starting off the game down 0-7, Liberty came back to take the lead at the end of the first quarter 18-17. Rogersville calls a time out in the middle of the second with Liberty leading 25-20 to try and cool them off and it seemed to have worked as it was all tied up at the half 28-28. Rogersville comes out strong leading 47-40 after the third and shut down the Eagles through the fourth to defeat them 64-50. The Eagles just could not handle the defense from Rogersville in the second half.
