The Eagles played host to the Alton Comets on Tuesday night, it was a chilly night outside and chilly in the first half for the Eagles starting out. Alton jumped out to a first half lead of 46-22. Liberty had four players in double figures; Stretch: 16 points, Acklin: 16 points, Lee: 14 points, and Corman with 11. Liberty came alive in the 3rd quarter but couldn’t combat the large lead by Alton who were led by Heck with 23 points and Morrison with 11. The final was 85-67 with Alton remaining undefeated on the season. Liberty plays again Thursday night against Imminence.
