Liberty traveled to Thayer to face SCA foes the Thayer Bobcats on Friday night. Liberty scored first to take an early 8-0 lead but Thayer went on a 34-0 run to take control of the game. Liberty QB left the game late in the first half with an injury and Drew Ripko stepped in throwing 3 touchdown passes late to make it a game but Thayer scored once again and beat Liberty 42-28. Liberty hosts Ava next Friday night.
