The Liberty Eagles move to 9-2 on the season after their eight straight victory. Zeb Cornman returned the opening kickoff 75 yards to get Liberty off to a 6-0 lead and scored again on the first offensive possession to extend the lead. Catholic answered with a touchdown to pull to 12-7 but Liberty added to their lead and went to the break leading 26-14. The defenses played tough in the second half each only giving up one touchdown and Liberty holds on to win 32-22. Carter Pruett had two punts to pin Catholic inside their own 5 yard line to help in the victory. Liberty will travel to Fair Grove for the district championship next Friday night.
