Liberty over Houston in Regular Season Finale

In the final regular season game of the year the Liberty Eagles celebrated senior night with a 43-14 win over the Houston Tigers.  Liberty took an early 18-0 lead before the Houston Tigers running back Bailey Hurst punched in the first of his two touchdowns on the night.  Liberty continued their dominating play in the second half on their way to a 43-17 win.  Drew Ripko scored 4 touchdowns, had nearly 250 yards of total offense, picked off two passes and recovered a fumble in a huge performance.  Tyler Watts returned to the field for the first play of the game coming back from a serious injury in week one completing a pass for 11 yards.  Liberty should host their first district game next Friday night with the opponent to be determined after district seedings are finalized.
