On Friday night the Liberty Eagles opened the 2022 season by hosting the Strafford Indians. The first half was very sloppy for both teams and Strafford took a 7-0 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Liberty Eagles returned and interception for a touchdown and never looked back scoring 42 second half points for a 42-7 win in week one.
