From Head Liberty Eagles volleyball Coach Sheri Tune
Liberty Eagles take their first home tonight! It wasn’t an easy battle for either team! The C team got us started off with a one set win over the Zizzers. JV won in 3 after dropping the first set, 19-25, 25-18, 15-12. Maci Tharp and Savana Lavorn led with 4 kills each. Abbi Orchard had 7 aces and 10 assists. Shelby Acklin had 11 digs. Varsity won in 4 sets, 25-18, 17-25, 25-21, 25-21. Peyton Bush finished with 14 digs and 16 kills. Lexi Shumpert and Lyla Cornman both had 23 assists. Freshman Bre Daniels had 3 aces. We recognized our 4 seniors tonight. Kelstin Roy ,Jocelyn Clark, Peyton Bush and Aspen Smotherman, it’s been a pleasure to coach you all, but we aren’t finished yet, we are just getting started… Love you all. Thanks for the great crowd, you all were awesome!
The ladies get to take off for a week. We will be back in action next Thursday at home against the Eminence Redwings. We hope to see you all there! First serve is 5:30PM
