On Friday night the Liberty Eagles once again hit the road this time to Fair Grove. The two teams met in week two with Fair Grove coming out with a 58-28 win but this time it was different. Liberty received to start the game and drove in for a touchdown early. After a fumble on Fair Groves first play, Liberty scored again to take a 14-0 lead. Fair Grove would pull close and each time Liberty had an answer including a kickoff return for a touchdown by Zeb Cornman at the end of the first half. Liberty played well in the second half and Cornman took away two Fair Grove passes to seal the game. Tyler Watts and Carter Pruett each rushed for around 150 yards with two touchdowns each. Liberty wins 44-20 and will advance to face Lamar on Saturday.
