Liberty wins First Game of Districts

It was a back and forth game in the first half, but the second half Liberty showed what they were made of. It was tied 14-14 after the first quarter.  The score tied 20-20 as Licking called for a time out as they were looking for something to break away from the Eagles in the second. With :29 in the 2nd, 32-27, Liberty lead as Licking called another timeout. Whatever was said in the timeout, worked because it was tied up 32-32 at the half. Liberty came out with a different look in the 3rd and pushed Licking to take a time out and regroup after an Eagles 11-point run. From then on in the third Liberty could not be caught, finishing 56-43 after three. Liberty kept it up through the 4th to win the game 71-49. Gary Lee has more:
