Mizzou Baseball Announces 2021 SEC Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball announced its 2021 Southeastern Conference schedule Tuesday, which will feature five home three-game series’ and five away three-game series’. Six of the Tigers’ 10 conference opponents are ranked in D1Baseball.com’s preseason Top 25 poll.

Mizzou Baseball head coach Steve Bieser and his squad will begin SEC play on the road at Kentucky (March 19-21). The following weekend, Vanderbilt will make the trek to Mid-Missouri for the Tigers’ home opener at Taylor Stadium (March 26-28).

Mizzou continues its season-high conference stretch at home with Texas A&M visiting Columbia (April 1-3). The Tigers and Aggies’ matchup will be a rare Thursday-Saturday three-game series to avoid playing on Easter Sunday.

Up next will be consecutive road trips to South Carolina (April 9-11) and Florida (April 16-18). SEC East counterpart Georgia will then meet the Tigers inside Taylor Stadium the following weekend (April 23-25). Mizzou quickly returns to the road to kick off the month of May, visiting Alabama in Tuscaloosa (April 30 – May 2).

Mizzou will close out its 2021 regular season with three straight SEC weekend series. Two of those three-game series will occur in Mid-Missouri with Tennessee (May 7-9) and Auburn (May 20-22) visiting Taylor Stadium. Mizzou and Auburn’s contests will mark another Thursday-Saturday series, as the teams receive an additional day of preparation prior to the SEC Tournament.

The Tigers’ road conference finale will take place in Starkville, Mississippi, against Mississippi State (May 14-16).
