Coach Bieser Postgame Soundbites
On Wednesday evening’s marathon win…
“It was a very tough, hard-fought victory. We did a lot of things tonight where sometimes you don’t walk away with a win, so we were very fortunate tonight. I’m proud of this group with how they stuck in it.”
On the Tigers’ strong collective pitching Wednesday…
“The guys are continuing to throw strikes and doing a good job of mixing pitches. They’re really keeping us in ballgames. We felt like we were going to come out today and score a lot of runs, but sometimes you overlook their staff. We just didn’t do a good job offensively.”
On completing a perfect 5-0 homestand…
“I’m proud of our guys and the way they’ve played at home. They battled and earned all five of these victories.”
