COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — Behind a solid performance by Kobe Brown, the University of Missouri men’s basketball team came away with the victory in a tight game on the road against Texas A&M, 70-66. Brown had his fifth game of the season with 20 or more points, ending the day with 21.
The Tigers had their second-best shooting performance of the season, going 26-of-46 from the floor. Jarron Coleman (12), Amari Davis (11) and Ronnie DeGray III (11) also reached double-digit scoring efforts as Coleman had four three-pointers.
TURNING POINT
Mizzou held the 37-32 halftime lead, but Texas A&M came all the way back with three-straight field goals in the second half. The Aggies used the run to take their first lead since the opening minutes of the game, 55-53. With just over nine minutes left, the two teams entered a back-and-forth battle.

Mizzou never allowed the Aggies more than a two-point lead, eventually edging back out to a five-point advantage on three-straight baskets from Coleman, DaJuan Gordon and Kobe Brown. With under a minute left, Texas A&M hit a three-pointer to make it a two-point game and then missed the front half of a one-and-one. Kobe Brown iced the game with a pair of free throws.

- Saturday marked Mizzou’s second true road win of the season and Cuonzo Martin‘s 75th win at Mizzou.
- The win is Mizzou’s second-straight in College Station and seventh all-time on the road against Texas A&M.
