COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou football (2-1, 0-1 SEC) travels to Boston College (3-0, 0-0 ACC) on Saturday, Sept. 25, for the first-ever meeting with the Eagles. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2.

SERIES VS. BOSTON COLLEGE
The Tigers and Eagles are meeting for the first time on the gridiron. Mizzou is 7-8 all-time against current members of the ACC. Mizzou is 70-88-8 all-time in non-conference road games. The Tigers are in search of the first non-conference road win since Sept. 15, 2018 at Purdue.
LAST TIME OUT: MIZZOU
Tyler Badie scored three first-half touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving, and Connor Bazelak threw for 346 yards as Missouri got out to a 38-0 halftime lead over the SEMO Redhawks and cruised to a 59-21 victory. Missouri (2-1) scored on all six of its first-half possessions and held SEMO (0-3) to 69 total yards while rolling up 458 of its own. Bazelak completed his first nine pass attempts and finished the half 21-of-30. He tossed touchdown passes of 11 yards to Badie, 46 yards to Boo Smith and 52 yards to Chance Luper. It was the most first-half passing yards by a Mizzou quarterback since Drew Lock threw for 371 yards in the opening two quarters against Idaho in 2017. It was the fourth 300-yard passing game of Bazelak’s career and his first this season. He completed passes to 10 different receivers.
LAST TIME OUT: BOSTON COLLEGE
Pat Garwo, Travis Levy and Dennis Grosel scored rushing touchdowns as Boston College cruised to a 28-3 victory over Temple in a non-conference clash. Grosel – who stepped into the quarterback spot following the injury to starter Phil Jurkovec during last week’s win over UMass – also added a touchdown pass to Jaden Williams. The Eagles defense recorded four sacks of Owls quarterback Justin Lynch, who was under constant pressure the entire afternoon. Boston College was especially effective on third down, where they held Temple to 2-for-13 overall. Boston College set the tone for the game with Levy’s 66-yard return of the opening kickoff just inside the Temple 30. Two plays later, Grosel found
Williams on a slant in the end zone for a 19-yard touchdown pass.

- Mizzou is one of 19 teams in the country that has scored in every trip to the red zone this season. The Tigers have nine touchdowns and one field goal in their 10 trips to the red zone.
- With a 90-percent touchdown rate, the Tigers have the best touchdown rate among the 19 teams that have converted on every trip to the red zone.
- Mizzou has two rushing touchdowns and nine passing touchdowns inside the 20 this season.

- Mizzou’s offense set a historic mark against SEMO, scoring from beyond 45-yards on five occasions. The five touchdowns of 45+ yards mark the most in a single-game in Mizzou history.
- The previous high was four touchdowns of 45+ yards, set against Iowa State in 1942.
- This was the second time under coach Drinkwitz the Tigers had at least four touchdowns of 20+ yards, a feat the squad accomplished against LSU in 2020.

- Running back Tyler Badie is just 39 receiving yards away from becoming the first Mizzou player to ever record 1,000 career rushing and receiving yards.
- The senior is averaging 164 all-purpose yards this season, goof for sixth nationally and first in the SEC.
- Badie’s 345 rushing yards rank 13th in the nation and second in the SEC. His 115 yards per game are 14th nationally and second in the league.
- His three total touchdowns, two rushing, one receiving, against SEMO marked a career high. Badie ranks 12th nationally in scoring with 36 points on the season. His three receiving touchdowns are 16th nationally.
