COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball (11-7, 11-7 SEC) welcomes Texas A&M (9-5, 9-5 SEC) to the Hearnes Center for a pair of matches this weekend. The Tigers and Aggies will battle on Friday (March 19) in a 6 p.m. first serve. The two teams will then conclude the series on Saturday (March 20) in another 6 p.m. start.
Both matches against the Aggies will air live on SEC Network+. Mizzou will honor four seniors, Kylie Deberg, Andrea Fuentes, Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana and Jaden Newsome in festivities prior to Saturday’s match.

SERIES SNAPSHOT
- Mizzou trails the all-time series against Texas A&M 31-17, but the Tigers have won four of the past five against the Aggies, including three-straight in Columbia.
- The Tigers hold a 12-10 edge in meetings played in Columbia. Mizzou is 10-5 against the Aggies in the past 15 meetings in Columbia.
- In the most recent meeting in 2019, Texas A&M captured a 3-1 decision in College Station.
- Each of the past two meetings in Columbia have been five-set decisions in favor of the Tigers. In 2019, the Tigers used 23 kills from Deberg to earn the win.
MIZZOU NOTABLES
- Senior Kylie Deberg continues to pace the SEC in kills, kills/set, points and points/set. The outside is averaging 4.66 kills per set and 5.40 points per set. Deberg also ranks third in the league with 0.39 aces per set. Deberg ranks second nationally in points, fourth in kills, 10th in points per set and 11th in kills per set.
- Senior Andrea Fuentes ranks fourth in the SEC in assists per set. She sits 39th nationally in total assists. Fuentes dished out a season-best 54 assists at Florida on Friday.
- The Tigers are hitting .263 as a team this season, good for third in the SEC. The mark ranks 31st in the country and 26th among teams that have played more than 30 sets on the year.
- Speaking to the strength of the Mizzou program, the Tigers’ current three-match losing streak matches the longest in the past decade. The Tigers have not lost four in-a-row since the end of the 2008 season when Mizzou was a member of the Big 12.
- This weekend’s series is a battle for third place in the SEC standings with just four matches left to play in the season. The Tigers will conclude the regular season next Wednesday and Thursday (March 24-25) at Mississippi State.
