The St. Louis Cardinals are trading for All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado from the Colorado Rockies.
St. Louis is expected to send pitcher Austin Gomber and some low-level prospects to Colorado in the deal.

Sources say the Rockies will send around $50 million to help cover a portion of the six-years and $199 million remaining on Arenado’s contract.
Arenado is one of the best players in the game and has won a Gold Glove in each of his eight seasons in Colorado.
